Shoes For School is a nonprofit organization established to provide a FREE pair of new school shoes to families that are struggling with the cost of school expenses.
THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
We asked one of our shoe voucher recipients to tell her story and to tell how Shoes for School was able to help her. We hope her grandchildren enjoy their new shoes! We can’t wait to help more families just like this one that are facing financial difficulties in uncertain times.

This is real, unscripted life. We’re so thankful for this testimony to help us show the world why our mission is so important! Merely existing is not cheap. Trying to make ends meet with children is HARD. Our reason for existing is to try to help bridge the gap when it comes to preparing your child for a new school year; to make sure this crucial, essential need is met when you’re facing financial hardships.
let’s make a difference
Something as simple a new pair of shoes might not seem like a big deal, but to a child that needs them, it could mean the world. Part of our goal is to combat bullying. Kids in need often easily become the victims of bullies. On top of existing insecurity, adding the fear of a bully can do major damage to a child’s confidence, self-esteem, and desire to attend school. We want to do what we can to provide an essential need that could make a positive impact in so many ways for children all over the country.
